About Richa Pathak

Certified Mental Health Counselor · Practicing Advocate · Published Author · Life Coach

My Story

“True justice does not always arrive from the outside. Sometimes, the deepest justice you will ever receive is the one you finally give yourself — the right to be understood, to heal, and to live freely.”

I am Richa Pathak — founder of Inner Justice Project, certified mental health counselor, practicing advocate, published author, and life coach. My path into this work did not start with a degree. It started with experience — with understanding, from the inside, what it means to grow up under the shadow of parental abuse and carry its invisible weight into every corner of adult life.

That personal reckoning became a professional mission. I have supported hundreds of individuals — helping them uncover their strengths, face their fears, find a clear direction, and step into lives they had almost stopped believing were possible. I have worked with women to help them reclaim their identities and take ownership of their emotions. I have walked with couples and families through conflict, confusion, and breakdown. And I have held space for the adults who grew up in toxic homes and are still, quietly, paying the price.

My Book

Born to Suffer: Hidden Patterns of Parental Abuse and Their Lifelong Impact

A deeply personal and professionally grounded account of the invisible damage parental abuse causes in adults — and the real, concrete path toward understanding it, healing from it, and moving beyond it.

How I Work

At Inner Justice Project, I do not tell you what to do. I give you the structure, language, and self-understanding to decide for yourself. Every session is shaped around your reality — your history, your patterns, your goals. Whether you come as an individual carrying old pain, a woman reclaiming her sense of self, a couple at a crossroads, or an adult still untangling a difficult childhood — the work is always yours. I am simply here to help you see it more clearly.

“You are not here to keep surviving what happened to you. You are here to understand it, release it, and finally live on your own terms. That is inner justice — and it is yours to claim.”

If something brought you to this page today — a relationship that won’t heal, a decision you can’t make, a childhood that still has too much power over your present — you are already on your way. I would be honored to be part of what comes next.
